This multi-day look into the German Winter Offensive to cut the Allied lines during Christmas 1944. Explore the legends of the 101st Airborne, the iconic "Nuts!" response, and the amazing efforts of Patton's 3rd Army to relieve the fighters in the in town of Bastogne. This tour focuses primarily on the stand of the 101st in the town of Bastogne. From there, the tour explores the Malmady Massacre, the north shoulder of the bulge, and then down to the southern portion of the bulge. This includes a discussion of Patton's turning movement, and a visit to the American Cemetery in Luxembourg
