Gettysburg and the National Capital Region
4-Day National Security Staff Ride of the National Capital Region and the Gettysburg Battlefield

On Day 1, BSL personnel will support the arrival of the group at either Dulles or Reagan International airports and once bags/baggage is collected, the group will move to coordinated lodging. After checking in, the group will move to a group dinner for a broader introduction and discussion on group and individual expectations and provide an overview of the Gettysburg campaign.
On Day 2, the group will have breakfast in the hotel and depart by motor coach to Gettysburg. The bus will make one stop (Frederick, MD) and then proceed to the Gettysburg National Battlefield. BSL will facilitate a tour of the battlefield, providing lunch/lunch stop, and a visit to the national cemetery before returning to the lodging. The group will participate in another group dinner to talk about the key lessons observed from the visit.
On Day 3, the group will have breakfast in the hotel and depart by Metro (5-min walk) to Arlington/Pentagon area and a tour/visit to the Arlington National Cemetery (including visit to MOH grave, Lee’s House, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and Section 60). Lunch/Dinner will be conducted between the visits and then allow for individual dinners in Washington, D.C.
On Day 4, the group will have breakfast in the hotel and depart by Metro to Washington, D.C. The day will include (pending final coordination): White House tour, U.S. Capital tour, visit to the National Archives, group lunch, and visits to the WWII, Korean, Woman, Vietnam, and Lincoln Memorials. The group will be then be released for dinner and additional sightseeing and a time to be back at the lodging.
